New York Knicks fans witnessed a disappointing loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. As Dallas dominated the third quarter, outscoring New York, Knicks fans took out their anger and frustration on Justin Bieber.
While he was clearly not expecting that welcome from the crowd, he should have been expecting it because: 1) He’s Justin Bieber; B) They’re New York sports fans; III) He was wearing large pink sunglasses; d) He’s Justin-freaking-Bieber. Now I’m sure the MILFs out there are going to say, “Come on, Burnsy, do you seriously condone a crowd of mostly adults picking on a kid?” When that kid has more money than teenage Jesus, then yes, I condone it.
Bieber, who visited Midtown earlier this week for an appearance on “The
Late Show with David Letterman,” didn’t mention the rough treatment in
his ongoing Twitter monologue.
"You hear the half cheers, half boos here at the Garden because they just put up Justin Bieber on the big screen," the announcer said.
"The boos are from the guys, the cheers are from the girls," a second announcer said.
Thankfully, MSG's cameras managed to spot one young girl wearing an Amar'e Stoudemire jersey in the crowd excitingly alerting friends on her turquoise cell phone that Bieber was in the building.
