Rescue workers and volunteers spent over three hours digging through the mud after they heard muffled noises from below.
Marcelo Fonseca was buried under 13 feet of rubble after devasting floods hit Teresoplis and other towns north of Rio de Janeiro toppling his home and nearly killing him.
