Rescue workers in Brazil who heard "muffled noises" coming from a pile of mud and debris dug for three hours to pull out a man buried alive for 16 hours under his wrecked house.


Rescue workers and volunteers spent over three hours digging through the mud after they heard muffled noises from below.
Marcelo Fonseca was buried under 13 feet of rubble after devasting floods hit Teresoplis and other towns north of Rio de Janeiro toppling his home and nearly killing him.
