Conan Issues Apology to Jimmy Kimmel for Palin-Rudolph Segment

Conan O’Brien apologized to Jimmy Kimmel yesterday for airing a comedy bit about Sarah Palin shooting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer that was similar to a segment done two weeks ago on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The staff member responsible for the piece has been fired," Conan quipped, "and we hear he's been immediately rehired at Jimmy Kimmel. So it all worked out.

Yesterday we showed you the light-hearted segment from Conan O’Brien depicting Sarah Palin hunting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. But there’s just one problem: an almost identical bit had already been shown two weeks early on the show of ABC rival Jimmy Kimmel.
