Heidi Klum's Lifetime reality show "Project Runway" crowned its champion Thursday night. The judges' decision was a surprising one, as Gretchen Jones defeated fan favorite Mondo Guerra following the contestants' showcases at New York Fashion Week.

Jessica Simpson certainly is in the midst of a busy week. The singer / reality TV star is appearing as a guest judge on the "Project Runway" finale, and she also ran into ex-husband Nick Lachey at a restaurant recently while they were both with their significant others.

The designers were given nine thousand dollars and six weeks to create a ten piece collection for Fashion Week. But if you recall the judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia couldn't narrow it down to three designers so they allowed four to come back to New York to create one final look in an effort to pick the final three.
